“Inside Llewyn Davis” is slightly different from the more action oriented films of late from the Coen brothers, with the exception of a few. However, there is still an unmistakable quirkiness and dark humor, the staple of the Coen brothers, which permeates from the trailer.
“Inside Llewyn Davis” revolves around a singer-songwriter, Llewyn Davis, as he navigates New York's folk music scene during the 1960s.
The film stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Garrett Hedlund, Justin Timberlake, Adam Driver and John Goodman. With a script and direction by all-stars Ethan and Joel Coen, this film is sure to have some potential.
The trailer is a little boring, not showing much in the way of the storyline of the film, except what is stated above. In the future, there are sure to be some better trailers that will give a more in-depth look at the plot of the film. However, the trailer does give enough to interest fans of the talented brothers.
