Innovation: Africa is a non-profit 501 (3) (c) organization that brings sustainable Israeli technologies to rural African villages. Their mission is to save Africa lives with Israeli innovation while supporting Israel's economy and its image abroad. As part of that mission, Innovation: Africa allocates part of its donations towards supporting Israeli innovation as well as builds relationships with African ambassadors and members of the United Nations.
Now, this takes place through Innovation: Africa working with Israeli companies because they offer cost-effective, innovation technologies and they are in close proximity to East Africa. In addition to that outside grants and foundations also support their operating costs, letting 100% of individual donations go directly toward all project costs.
So with that being said, on Saturday, January 26, 2013, Innovation: Africa is having its Fifth Annual Gala. This gala will be held at Skylight West, 500 West 36th Street, New York, NY. The cocktail reception begins at 7:30, dinner and featured speakers, an African dance show and fashion show will begin at 8:30 and at 9:30 there will be an additional after party!
