Chef/Innkeeper Monika Sudakov is serving up an exotic culinary journey for her guests on March 26, 2010 with a Moroccan theme meal that begins with fennel and orange salad, roasted beet salad, roasted eggplant and tomato salad, hummus, Moroccan relish, ground beef meatball tagine (stew) and a honey citrus cake. All the dishes are typical of the vegetarian cuisine found in Fes, the third largest city in Morocco. If you can't make it to dinner but crave Moroccan food, sign up for a cooking class with Chef Monika. Class participants will learn to prepare harira (beef, tomato and rice soup), Moroccan relish, B'Stilla (chicken phyllo pie) or fava bean dip bisaara, garlic and harissa shrimp and lamb tagine with plums.
Bed & Bangers - Calling all Brit-philes! It's time to put all those quirky British sayings to good use at The Woodstocker Inn in Woodstock, Vermont. Knackered guests will be in jolly good spirits after relaxing in the British style rooms. Guests can also hang out in the library which houses a collection of British publications that span over 25 years.
