Inland Empire resident, Mesha Cabbell selected as JET Beauty of the Week

Rancho Cucamonga, CA- Clark Atlanta University Alumni and Rancho Cucamonga resident, Mesha Amineh Cabbell was selected as JET magazines Beauty of the Week in the February 11 issue.

“To me a JET Beauty is B.E.A.S.T. (Beautiful, Educated And Successfully Talented),” Cabbell stated on why she wanted to be a JET Beauty. “I hope to be a role model and to encourage other young women to always strive to be B.E.A.S.T.”

Cabbell, originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Upon college graduation, Cabbell moved to California where she opened up Rain Boutique. In the future, Cabbell looks forward to expanding her fashion boutique business. In addition to fashion, she also enjoys traveling, wardrobe styling, shopping and modeling.

“I feel really blessed and honored, especially knowing the history of JET magazine,” Cabbell said. “JET was founded back in 1951. It’s an honor to be part of such a historical magazine, especially during Black History Month.”

Cabbell will be hosting a JET magazine signing and social event on Sunday, February 24 at the Hourglass Art and Wine Gallery, 8200 Haven Avenue, Suite 103, Rancho Cucamonga 91730. The signing will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Make sure you bring your JET Magazine or purchase one at the event while supplies last.
