The website Ign.com has confirmed the release of a new title on the iOS App Store. That title is “Injustice: Gods Among Us” and it was released on April 3, 2013. This game is available for free, but does have in-app purchases available. Please note that this is not the fighting game that is being released on home consoles. That game will not release for another few weeks.
This version of “Injustice: Gods Among Us” is a card collecting game. Players collect cards that they then use in 3 on 3 battles. The cards include character cards to determine who the player will fight with, powers that enhance the characters, and moves to determine how the characters will fight. Players have a massive roster of characters and abilities to choose from, and as such there are a large variety of combinations that players can use. The game features very good graphics, particularly for an iOS game. Players can also level up their characters and abilities to make them stronger. Fighting involves the player touching and swiping on the touch screen to attack. This version of “Injustice: Gods Among Us” also features connectivity with the console versions of the game. Players can unlock things in the console version and transfer them to the iOS version and vice versa.
