Injustice: Gods Among Us, the fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios, is getting an "Ultimate Edition", publishers Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced today. Featuring the game and all the DLC that has been launched for it, the Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is also headed to the PlayStation 4 with the console's launch on November 15, 2013.
Included as DLC are Lobo, Batgirl, General Zod, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna, and Scorpion, best known for his time in the Mortal Kombat world. Also included will be more than 40 extra character skins and 60 S.T.A.R. Labs Missions, as well as the game's music soundtrack featuring an exclusive track from Jane’s Addiction titled “Another Soulmate” and 11 songs from artists ranging from Depeche Mode to AWOLNATION.
The PS4 version will feature Touchpad functionality, video sharing and streaming, and will link to players’ PlayStation Network Feed page during match wrap-ups and pause menus and was set up for the next generation of consoles by High Voltage, who is also shifting the game to PC.
The PS Vita version will feature touch controls for mini-games in the story mode and S.T.A.R. Labs Missions, Ad-hoc and Wi-Fi multiplayer, collectible hero cards, and all DLC released to date.
Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition will hit shelves in the Americas on November 12 and Europe on November 29.
