*The video at the beginning of this article is not Pippa. It is another inspirational story about a three-legged dog who becomes a little boy's best friend and helps the boy with his own "handicaps".
About Pippa
On February 22, 2013, Pippa the dog was rescued by Pet Rescue By Judy of Sanford, Florida. Pippa had been hit by a car a few weeks before and had not received vet care for her injuries, so, of course the injuries worsened. She has had several surgeries since then including one to remove a back leg.
Good news though, Pippa has made a dramatic comeback and is now doing fine. Pippa can go on to live a normal life as an amputee, as dogs still maneuver well on three legs. She will need two months to fully recover and then she will be ready for adoption.
