Information on the 2013 Superbowl: when can San Francisco see it? (Video)

Here in San Francisco, residents were hyped up about the San Francisco 49ers beating the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday.

Now, San Francisco residents are excited about the upcoming Superbowl XLVII. The information comes hot on the heels of the sad story of the lottery winner who ingested cyanide (See that story here about the cyanide victim) and the story of the Indian woman who was raped with the rapists then trying to run over her body.

"I can't wait to see the Superbowl, it's going to be just amazing!" says San Francisco resident, Arnie Adams. "With all the sad news making headlines, it's nice to have something joyful to watch."

So if you are wondering what time the game will be on, then we have that answer for you.

The real question you are probably asking yourself however, is, what are the 49ers' chances of winning against the Baltimore Ravens? We can give you a response to that too.

The Superbowl game will be shown on February 3rd on KPIX-TV, Channel 5. That's a CBS station and the Superbowl 2013 will start at 3.30pm Pacific Standard Time (or 6.30pm Eastern Standard Time).

The online site, VegasInsider.com is saying that the San Francisco 49ers are odds on favorite to win by 4 1/2 points. That's good.

"That's good about the odds. But for me, I just watch for the halftime show. Who is performing this year, is my big question," says San Francisco resident, Karla Davies.

That's an answer we can give you. At the Superbowl XLVII held in the New Orleans Mercedes-Benz Superdome, it will be Alicia Keys who sings the national anthem.

And Superstar Beyonce will be the singer at the halftime show this year - note that it was Beyonce who sang the national anthem before the Superbowl XXXVIII.

So special, in fact, is the half-time event that it has its own name - the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show.

In summary, then, the 2013 Superbowl this year will be shown on CBS and locally in San Francisco on Channel 5 KPIX. It will begin at 3.30pm PST (that's San Francisco time) or at 6.30pm EST. Alicia Keys will perform the national anthem and Beyonce will perform the half-time show.

The San Francisco 49ers are the favorites to win out against the Baltimore Ravens by 4 1/2 points.

We wish our very own San Francisco 49ers the best of luck! We know we will all be cheering them on.
