This is the personal pick to out-gross Kevin Costner's "Draft Day". The NFL is interesting and all but this festival of music, color and humor has been in the works since the 2011 release of "Rio". That film was so much fun and so funny that this one can't help but be more of the same. The addition of Bruno Mars can only enhance the experience.

Don Rhymer, who wrote the screenplay for Part I, died in December of 2012. This is his final work and will likely be dedicated to him. Carlos Kotkin, Jenny Bicks and Yoni Brenner rounded out the writing team for this film.

People with kids are obligated to take them this weekend to find out what happens. As good as the Costner film will be, this one is better suited to the warm-up outside and the overall joy in the kingdom that winter is over at long...long...last. This is a chance to share that joy with the kids and have a lot of fun in the process.
