Nicolas Hoult stars as R, a zombie who falls in love with Julie after he eats her boyfriend's brains and absorbs his memories.
Cold as ice. All zombie films are the epitome of stupidity and a zombie rom-com is no exception. The recent fascination with crud like this is baffling to say the least. This phenomonen shuld have ended back in the 1960s with "Night of the Living Dead". No zombie film will ever live up to that standard. Ever.
That fact should be especially interesting to John Malkovich who is better than this. For him to lower his standards this far must mean he has been unable to save much money for his retirement. It must be dreadful to be that talented and have to pimp one's reputation for a nothing role in tripe like this. He certainly lends it no credibility.
See "Stand Up Guys" instead and let this thing die in peace.
