Merry Christmas! It's about time the world's stiffest actor returns to action in the world's biggest-budgeted stiff. Ever since "The Matrix Revolutions" (2003), Mr. Reeves has brought us the most boring remake in history ("The Day the Earth Stood Still") and an even dozen films see mostly by his family and friends. This audio-visual assault on our collective intelligence is equally dull and meaningless. The Matrix movies did very little to advance mankind's journey either.
Reeves has done some good work in films that co-starred actual actors ("Speed", "Point Break") but it's difficult to take him seriously when he's the same rigid dolt in every film he does. Even the computer graphics can't disguise or save this nonsensical tripe.
