"ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES" from Paramount opens Wed., Dec. 18, 2013.

STARRING: Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Luke Wilson, Harrison Ford, Vince Vaughn, Fred Willard, Kristen Wiig and Greg Kinnear.

DIRECTOR: Adam McKay ("Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy"; "Step Brothers").

Synopsis: Anchorman Ron Burgundy (Ferrell) returns to the news desk.

A great many people totally convinced themselves that the first movie was an awesome cinematic achievement. Trying to convince them they were wrong is like trying to raise the Titanic with air-filled wads of bubble gum. Those same people are drooling over the prospect of part two hitting theaters a week before Christmas. Again, no negative opinion will dissuade these beings.

If you are one who thought part one was all that you'll think the same about part two. If not, you won't go see his one and you'll never care what you missed. In case you were wondering, the answer is nothing. You will have missed nothing. It does mean you'll have money to go see "Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" or "Frozen" or any number of fine films in other theaters right now. It's still almost a free country so exercise your freedom of choice.
