Info 101: How can I stay updated with local natural hair events?

With the increase of natural hair wearers in recent years, there’s been a rise in natural hair related websites such as online social communities, blogs, photo journals, products sites, as well as natural hair meet-ups and events.

With so much information on natural hair now flooding the web, it’s hard to keep up with it all, let alone keep track of local meet-ups and events. Kinnks.com is a site that has all these things combined in one site.

Kinnks.com, home-base located in Richmond, VA, is a worldwide community of resources, history, tools, and advice for people with natural hair, and with it’s new events calendar, you will be able to keep track of all local events.

Kinnks’ mission is to enrich the lives of those who were taught they are not naturally beautiful, and it's goal is to be the informational source for all things natural hair.

According to it’s creator, Lady Kinnks, "Anyone with a natural hair website can go to our directory, and add their link at no charge!"

"The goal of Kinnks is to teach women of the world, your hair is not broken. You are perfect naturally," she added. Kinnk’s also has it’s very own Natural Hair Pride shop containing exclusive Kinnks’ tees, hoodies and recycled totes.

Visitors can add events to the new Kinnks’ Event Calendar free of charge as well. Be sure to sign up on the Kinnks’ mailing list to keep updated on all things natural.
