GRETCHEN WILSON AT TREASURE ISLAND

Gretchen Wilson is an upper-Midwest girl, born in Pocahontas, Illinois. Working the clubs in and around St. Louis, Gretchen is a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. She sang the National Anthem prior to Game 4 of the 2004 World Series. That was the same year she released "Redneck Woman". Her career took off from there. Wilson is touring in support of "I Got Your Country Right Here", her fourth album.
Wilson's material is primarily country but there is a difinite rock influence to her stuff. Two of her greatest influences are Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. Gretchen has covered several of Heart's tunes. Gretchen's shows are mostly upbeat and fast-paced but she can turn a ballad with the best of them. It's a guaranteed good time, worth the drive even if winter has started by then.
You must be 12 y.o. to attend this show. 18 & younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
COMING SOON:
LYNYRD SKYNYRD. 8 p.m., Sat., May 19, $65 & $75. 18+ to attend. It's not too early to start thinking about these tickets. Skynyrd still packs 'em in.
As always, it's all about the music...
