Brian Fleming has provided a few more information on the PS4 exclusive video game, “inFamous: Second Son.” According to a report from Softpedia on March 14, the producer first stated that the artificial intelligence of the pedestrians will react realistically to the action taking place.

For example, the onlookers will be running away during combat sequences as players won’t be seeing much of the ordinary citizens. You can take a look at a set of “inFamous: Second Son” screenshots with the slideshow to the left of this article and the statement from Brian Fleming below (courtesy of Playstation Blog and Softpedia):

There’s a lot of combat in the game, and pedestrians do as pedestrians do in real life: run away! So when you’re in heavy combat, you shouldn’t expect to see lots of people wandering around. There’s a balance to strike between having the city feel lively, but also have pedestrians behaving realistically.

The producer also talked about the environmental destruction element in the open-world action-adventure title. He revealed that the demolition of structures is simulated by physics. You can check out the rest of his statement below:

You’ve seen some of this in the demos we’ve done. This stuff was designed to break in the most spectacular way we could manage. It’s all simulated, multi-stage breakables — so if you blow up one corner of something, the whole thing topples over and smashes to the ground. That’s been a lot of fun to work on.

In “inFamous: Second Son,” players will be able to use various powers, such as neon and smoke, to destroy structures set up by the Department of Unified Protection throughout the city of Seattle.

The sequel will be released in just several days on March 21. Brian Fleming and the rest of the team at Sucker Punch Productions developed the PS4 exclusive title, which is being published and distributed by Sony Computer Entertainment. The regular version of “inFamous: Second Son” has a price tag of $59.99 while the collector’s edition costs $20 more.
