An inexperienced nudist was acquitted of indecent exposure charges in San Francisco, according to a Today News Gazette report. Richard Sierra, 48, was accused of inappropriately touching himself while walking in the Castro district in San Francisco.
Sierra's lawyer said that instead of touching himself inappropriately, what the inexperienced nudist was doing was rearranging himself because he was uncomfortable being nude in public.Ultimately, the jury agreed, and they acquitted the inexperienced nudist.
Of course, a man walking his dog last Nov. thought that Richard Sierra was masturbating. It seems, though, that he was actually attempting to hide scars on his stomach by wearing a tank top. He attached a metal ring to his shirt, and looped it over his penis. In addition, he was using cream for eczema on another part of his body, which caused the dog walker to believe he was seeing Sierra masturbate with lubricant.
The trip was Sierra's first time being nude in an urban setting, and it did not seem to go so well for him. If the jury had convicted him, he would have had to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
