The world is full of wonder and that is no doubt. Exposing our children to the wonders of the world is a wonderful thing and will have positive effects on our youth. Sharing current events such as the discovery of the “super-earth” planet with the plasma water atmosphere and the newest Bigfoot evidence, though at times surreal and maybe even silly, will stimulate our children’s minds and expand their horizons. Taking advantage of local museums, zoos, and other natural historical sites, preserves, etc. are a great way to educate your child through real-life experience and exposure. I personally learned some of life’s greatest lessons in the public library. Providing your children with these experiences is inexpensive and at the same time priceless. So, the next time you feel tempted to spend money on the latest Madden, think of enriching your child through science, technology, history, and experience. A day trip to the museum could set the stage for your child to be the next Galileo. Who knows?
Peace & Blessings,
