Adib Abdel Kareem (Alexander Siddig) is a manager in the computers department at a bank in Canada and he receives the horrific news one day that his oldest daughter Muna (Jay Anstey) has gone missing, somewhere in Damascus.
Adib returns to Damascus, to confront an old existence. He also avoids death a few times.
The good news is that Muna is returned to him. This is the final scene.
Adib: I can't find Muna's camera. She takes it everywhere with her.
Adib: I have connections.
Adib: There are not photos. Muna heard these stories from journalists.
Adib: (To Paul) Why do you have my daughter's phone?
Adib: You have my daughter?
Fatima: I got you to Damascus. You're welcome.
Paul: Perhaps, it would be wise if you were to return home.
Paul: You could be putting yourself, or your daughter at risk.
Sayid: I may decide to have you arrested.
Sayid: So, what brings you back?
Sayid: (To Adib) That blood is on your hands.
