Despite rumors that sales of the Amazon Kindle Fire were cooling off, Los Angeles Industry Analyst Paul Mueller says the device is thriving and the rumors were made up by “Apple fanboys.”
“The Best Buy retail stores I’ve talked to in Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside County, and San Diego say that the device is selling as well as the iPad in this region and other regions around the United States,” Mueller claims. “Of course, the Kindle Fire isn’t selling as well as it was in December—that’s because it isn’t Christmas anymore!”
The Amazon Kindle Fire has been a big success for Amazon and has become the first tablet to take away some of Apple’s iPad shine.
