Indies First Storytime: Coming May 17 to an Indie Bookstore Near You

When Kate DiCamillo announced Indies First Storytime in February of this year, the independent bookselling community as well as the kids' book world got very excited!

Authors and illustrators have signed up to visit stores to read aloud and meet fans for May 17, 2014.

The American Booksellers Association is hosting an interactive map to help you find participating stores. I would recommend checking with your favorites, too-- some stores may not have submitted their information to the ABA site yet.

Some stores in the Seattle area who will host events on Indies First Storytime Day May 17:

University Book Store

Third Place Books

Mockingbird Books

Queen Anne Book Company

Elliott Bay Book Company

Do you know another Seattle area store hosting an Indies First Storytime event May 17? If so, please post in a comment!
