The indie political drama "Knife Fight" is currently in production in San Fransisco. The film's starring roles are cast in Los Angeles, and smaller speaking roles, extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles are being cast out of San Fransisco throughout filming.
Knife Fight is a film about the dark side of political operatives. Rob Lowe stars as as a political crisis manager who specializes in playing hardball on behalf of scandal-plagued clients. Scheduled for release at the height of the 2012 presidential election season, "Knife Fight" will put Lowe back in the national political backdrop once again.
Two time Academy Award winner Bill Guttentag is directing and co-wrote the screenplay with writer Chris Lehane. Guttentag's Oscar wins came in the Best Documentary, Short Subjects category for "Twin Towers" and "You Don't Have to Die".
