Indie Music Mondays: ACIDIC

2013 started off with a bang for LA Indie Rockers ACIDIC, starting with the release of their fourth full-length album, “Copper Man". Their latest release once again teamed them up with legendary producer John Ryan, who has worked with Santana, Styx, and Lynrd Skynrd. The band began this year with many months of nationwide touring.

In 2012, ACIDIC also reached another milestone when they played for a sold-out crowd at the legendary Troubadour. Humble, yet ambitious, the band has toured with such heavy hitters as Fuel, Candlebox, Alien Ant Farm, Marcy Playground, and Filter. In January 2011, the band visited Germany and Kosovo as part of an Armed Forces Entertainment tour, an experience which inspired Gossard to write the song “The Brave”. "I would be approached by all these soldiers and they'd tell me stories," Gossard said. "I'd listen and I decided I needed to write about it.”

If you are looking for throw back Alternative rock style tunes, look no further. ACIDIC's "Copper Man" is worth more than it's weight in gold. Take a LISTEN by going to their FACEBOOK PAGE then CLICK on the app for "BANDPAGE".
