Indie Memphis presents "The Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers," who announces its first Southern Circuit screening. It will be on Wed., Sept. 18 at The Studio on the Square, and will begin at 7:30pm. The name of the screening is "HOW TO MAKE MOVIES AT HOME."
According to sources with Indie Memphis, filmmaker, Morgan Nichols will be in attendance to screen the film and talk about it afterwards. There will also be a free reception with him before the screening. Location of the reception will be announced later.
The Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers is presented by Indie Memphis and sponsored by The Department of Communication at The University of Memphis. It is a program of South Arts. The Department of Communication at the University of Memphis has the longest standing film production program in the Mid-South, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees with an emphasis in Film and Video Production. Their cooperation makes this screening possible.
Sources with Indie Memphis further states, "Tickets are $8, but we've setup a $3 advance online discount code to save members of this group a couple of dollars (just use the promo code: "filmmaker"). Admission is totally FREE for current Indie Memphis members and students with valid ID, so if you either of those, you're all set."
