Murderous Decisions by Anna Drake
Victoria Cross believes her life to be settled. She loves her husband and adores her son. Her greatest challenge, she assumes. involves keeping up with her duties to her family, to their home, and to her job. But all that changes when an elderly gentleman calls Victoria one morning and asks if she will have lunch with him. His request certainly sounds aboveboard and innocent. But sometimes simplicity can be deadly. And in short order, a handsome stranger, a string of police detectives, and a ruthless killer all combine to push Victoria to her limits. Soon Victoria realizes her greatest challenge just might be simply surviving.
About the Author:
Anna Drake says she writes mysteries with a touch of romance and a dash of suspense, and she insists she does her best to deliver on that promise. Her fascination with crime and its consequences began at an early age when she discovered a stash of Nancy Drew books in her parent's attic. Her devotion to the genre remained, even as her tastes advanced to include devouring most of the major crime books written. And to this day, when Anna isn't writing, she's most at home with her nose buried in a book.
Anna grew up on a small grain farm. She then went on to spend a delightful decade living in Chicago and environs. Now, she makes her home in a small town in rural Illinois. When Anna isn't reading or writing, she enjoys gardening and spending her time with family and friends.
