The Cleveland Indians took batting practice on Cincinnati Reds pitching on Tuesday, February 27, 2014, as they cruised to a 12-3 spring training victory at Goodyear Ballpark in Goodyear, Arizona. The Tribe offense belted three home runs and a dozen base hits in the outing.

Minor league catcher Jake Lowery was the offensive star of the day with a 5th-inning grand slam that gave the Tribe a 7-2 lead. Elliot Johnson (4th inning) and Tyler Naquin (7th inning) also hit a two-run shots for Cleveland. Nyjer Morgan added a pair of RBIs on two hits in the game.
On the mound, Justin Masterson pitched a scoreless first inning while Carlos Carrasco retired all six batters he faced. Carrasco added a pair of strikeouts on the day. David Aardsma, Josh Outman, Blake Wood, and Tyler Cloyd all pitched scoreless innings in a game Cleveland dominated.
The two teams will end a stretch of three games tomorrow at 3:05 p.m. EST at Goodyear Ballpark. Starting pitchers will be Zach McAllister for the Indians while Homer Bailey will take the mound for Cincinnati.
