Indians announce major enhancements to fan experience at Progressive Field

On Thursday, the Cleveland Indians announced that the club will be making some major enhancements to Progressive Field for the 2015 season. The enhancements are aimed at adapting to fans' expectations for their ballpark experience. The ideas were developed after extensive research into the team's fan base and its preferences and demands.

The significant enhancements to the ballpark will create customized and socially connected areas targeting multiple fan segments; create dramatic new connections to the revitalized city and Indians players; and celebrate the club's rich history and heritage throughout the ballpark.

The project features an expanded Cleveland Indians Kids Clubhouse. The Kids Clubhouse was added to the ballpark in 2012, and now will be expanded to two stories, offering a more accessible, safe and convenient space for kids of all ages.

A dramatic new entrance will be created at the Gate C entry and concourse, which will include a new space to celebrate the history of Cleveland Indians baseball. The new Gate C area will provide fans with awesome external views of the ballpark and views of the beautiful Cleveland skyline. Gate C will also help connect fans to the players. With new bullpens, fans will have better views of the players warming up. There will also be a small group of exclusive seats in front of the bullpen. Another new addition to Progressive Field next season will be a two-story bar which will include team memorabilia.
