Children's Day In

Children’s Day In is affiliated with Meridian Street United Methodist Church, and includes both a nursery school program and a traditional preschool. The school is located in the rear of the Church, at the intersection of 55th and Meridian streets in the heart of the Meridian-Kessler area of Indianapolis.

While Children’s Day In is of the Methodist faith, children of all backgrounds are welcome. The appropriate classroom is determined based on the child’s age on September 1. (Summer camp classrooms are determined by the child’s age on June 1.) The school runs on a traditional school year calendar, with a six week summer camp. The school day is from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The classroom teachers preferably have an education background or related experience, but this is not required. Breakfast and lunch are not provided – children must bring a sack lunch.
