Four Winds Casino in Hartford, Mich. announced last week that one lucky guest from Fort Wayne, Indiana hit a progressive jackpot in the amount of $1,529,528. The jackpot was hit on Thursday, Nov. 17 on a Monopoly Around the Globe penny machine. It is one of the largest jackpots ever hit at either the Four Winds New Buffalo (Mich.) or Hartford properties.
The progressive jackpot is contributed into from over 300 other Tribal casinos across the country. This gaming network encompasses 17 states where Native American gaming is allowed. Whenever a casino patron drops a coin into a machine that is part of this network, the cumulative jackpot grows until it is won.
