Lt. William Browne, a conservation officer with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, will conduct a live chat about dangerous conditions on fresh ice in Indiana on Facebook from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday.

Snowmobiling, fishing and just sliding around are opportunities for great fun in Indiana in the wintertime, but there's also danger. Browne will discuss how to stay safe and have an enjoyable experience.

If you want to join the chat, go to the DNR’s Facebook wall, facebook.com/INdnr, and click “like” (if you are not already a “friend”).
