Indian Fry Bread in the 'Indian Village' at 'NM State Fair' Sept. 14

The 2013New Mexico State Fair” runs from Wednesday Sept. 11 through Sunday Sept. 22, 2013 at Albuquerque, N.M. The weather forecast for today Sept. 14 is cloudy with 50% chance of rain at 75 degrees. General admission is as follows: $10 for adults (12-64). $7 for senior citizens (65 & up). $7 for kids (11 & under). Kids 5 years & under get in “Free.” This is the 75th anniversary year of the state fair. Slogan, “Meet Me @ The Fair.”

According to “Expo New Mexico” that tracks all events for the NM State Fair - “General Parking will once again be 'Free' throughout the run of the Fair. Some 'preferred' paid parking will also be available. / General hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday thru Thursday./ 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. / Gate 9 (Louisiana just north of Central) is permanently 'Closed' to Fair traffic. / Fairgoers wishing to park on the grounds may use Gate 8 (Louisiana just south of Lomas) and Gate 1 off Central Avenue. / The 2013 State Fair will open at 10 a.m. every day.”

According to the website of “Expo New Mexico” below is the list of times plus events scheduled at the “Indian Village.” Artist's & performances are subject to change at any time. - Try the delicious Indian Fry Bread at the Indian Village.

12 p.m.: Pearl Sunrise (Demonstrator – Rug Weaving Demonstrator)

12 p.m.: Tesuque Warriors (Pueblo Dance Groups)

1 p.m.: Native Wisdom Dancers (Powwow Dance Group)

2 p.m.: Robert Tree Cody (Native Flute and Story Telling)

3 p.m.: The Gooneenes (Native American Rock Band)

4:30 p.m.: Native Wisdom Dancers (Powwow Dance Group)

5:30 p.m.: Tesuque Warriors (Pueblo Dance Groups)

6:30 p.m.: Robert Tree Cody (Native Flute and Story Telling)

7:30 p.m.: Native Wisdom Dancers (Powwow Dance Group)

8:30 p.m.: Twin Rivers (Native American Contemporary)
