The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) opens today, April 8, 2014 and runs through Sunday, April 13, 2014. Over 30 films will be screened. General film tickets are $14 each, but there's a free sneak preview of an episode of Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Arclight Hollywood. Reserve your complimentary tickets here.
It's only fitting that the Emmy award-winning CNN original series sneaks a peak at an episode set in Amristar at IFFLA. Watch Bourdain dive into the ever-changing state of Punjab, sampling cuisine at roadside restaruants known as dhabas and at a free community vegetarian eatery. Tag along with Bourdain at a gurpurb festival, which is a Sikh celebration, and hear what the locals have to say about this occasionally contentious region of India, which borders Pakistan. This 43-minute episode offers a fascinating taste of India. Season 3 of Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown premieres Sunday night on CNN at 9 p.m.
Take a trip.
