Independent producer Bingham Ray has stroke at 'Sundance'

Yesterday morning, (Friday January 20th), Bingham Ray suffered the second stroke in a week. The first was earlier this past week.

Ray co-founded 'October Films' in 1991 and is a past president of United Artists, and worked at Sidney Kimmel Entertainment.

He has been doing some consulting for the excellent Indie Doc site SnagFilm.

He was also named Executive Director of the San Francisco Film Society. This society runs seven festivals in the fall season, that's a big job.

Ray's daughter told 'The Wrap' that he is stable at a Provo hospital.

He and his family could use prayers and good thoughts.
