Independent Filmmaker Agatino Zurría prepares new film FAUN MOON

South Florida Independent Filmmaker Agatino Zurría has started production of his new film Faun Moon, to be filmed in different locations in Miami this February 2012.

"It is a film divided into two: A dream-like fantasy and a real life search" says Agatino of his new film. "It is, once again a short film, but it is very different from my other three projects".

He is talking about "El Viaje Sin Retorno de Marialma Centeno" (Marialma Centeno's trip of no Return, 1994) which was an official selection at the Festival Internacional de Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano in Havana Cuba, "Interview Me" which won three awards at the Miami Life Awards 2011 (Best Short Film, Best Director and Best Actress for Julie Ferrer), and his most recent work "La Mesa Esta Servida" (Dinner Is Served, 2012) which was nominated as Best Director at the Miami Life Awards 2012.

"The first one was a drama, and the other two are dramedies. This one is more of a poetic film because it involves dreams and longings, a lot of symbolism and classical music".

The film wil be shot in diverse locations in Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables and Kendall, and it stars South Florida actors Neffer Rojas and Luke Grande.

Post production is set to follow all month of March.

Agatino Zurría is just one of the many South Florida independent filmmakers who are developing their personal ideas into productions that make very good use of local scenery, cast and crew.

"It's in times like these that great films and important worldwide movements have been created and careers have been pushed".

The film was written, and it is being produced and directed by Agatino Zurría. Co-producers are Edna Gutierrez and Anthony Joseph (who is also its Art Designer).
