Ellicottville Summer Music Festival – Friday through Sunday, July 4th through 6th on the slopes of Holiday Valley; gates open at 6 p.m. for the shows. Great Blue Heron Music Festival – Friday through Sunday, July 4th through 6th in Sherman, NY. The festival features more than 100 performers on numerous stages, including Donna the Buffalo, Big Leg Emma and The Town Pants. There are also bike trails, a pond for supervised swimming, food and merchandise vendors. Find out more at

Independence Eve with the BPO – Thursday, July 3rd at 6:05 p.m. at Coca Cola Field in downtown Buffalo. The 20th annual baseball game/concert will feature the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus with the largest fireworks show of the season following the Bisons game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
