Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:
Chilly tonight as light winds and clear skies will be the story early then clouds increase late by dawn ahead of a powerful springlike storm. This system will bring a warm front through early in the day with a band of showers and some thunderstorms early then temperatures will sore to the low 60s by pm ahead of a developing line of intense storms that will arrive in areas west of I-75 by 8 to 10 pm. These storms will be capable of small hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes especially South and West towards the Cincinnati metro area where there is less snow pack and a higher potential for the ground to heat up tomorrow. In any case winds to 50 mph may be possible with or without thunderstorms tomorrow evening from 8pm to midnight with the passage of the front. Flooding rains of near one inch on melting snow pack will cause flooding late tomorrow especially in low lying areas. As the front passes temperatures will fall to near freezing by Friday am. This may cause any left over rain showers to taper to flurries and create a few slick spots. Friday winds will still be gusting to 50 mph at times behind this powerful front as temperatures remain mild but considerably cooler. Saturday will be mild one more day then a weak system may pass South late Saturday night brining a chance of some light snow/rain. This system will bring winter like temps back for next week.
Next week looks considerably colder with highs back below freezing and chances for snow at times through midweek.
