As I sat and watched the inauguration of the president of United States today, yet again, in the audience there appeared to be happiness and unity. The problem is that it in most cases it only last during the excitement of the celebration. Tomorrow the fight will continue, division among the races, no care love or support for the homeless, veterans, poor, domestic violence victims, and so much more.
What is the real issue, the debt ceiling, I think not! It's greed. The politicians are greedy, all they do is argue and fight and get paid extremely well to get nothing accomplished.
While we are a nation of all races, backgrounds, social and economic status, we all want basically the same thing, to work and be able to feed our families and have reliable healthcare coverage, Is that too much to ask for? If it were not for greed and the love of power, we could have these basic needs met. All the billions of dollars that have been wasted on wars that never should have been in the first place.
The inauguration theme is "Faith in America's future". Please give me a break, while the dignitaries feast on lobster and more at the inauguration luncheon, those who have served our country are homeless and starving. Something is drastically wrong with that picture, as I see it.
I could go on and on but I will say God open the eyes of the rich and ruthless, God Bless America.
