Former President Bill Clinton may have photobombed the first ever “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson as she sang for the inauguration ceremony on Jan. 21 reports the New York Post.
Clinton photobombs her as she takes the stage to start her performance. He appeared to give the sign of approval as Kelly Clarkson set out to sing “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” for President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony.
His nod, as you can see in the photo makes it seem like he enjoyed the performance.
The New York post explains:
In the photo, posted to Twitter by Doug Gordon, who describes himself as a Brooklyn documentary TV producer, the 42nd President of the United States sticks his head out and gives what appears to be a look of approval.
The newly engaged Kelly Clarkson gave a passionate rendition of “My Country ‘Tis of Thee”. Fans of the “Idol” winner were pleasantly surprised as she took to the stage and sang her heart out.
Other performers at the 57th inaugural ceremony included singer Beyonce and poet Richard Blanco with his poem “One Today”.
