In the Sea of Change

There is so much energy bubbling, bubbling over with endless opportunities. We are in a time of such immense change. I am excited and feeling a bit rocked and a bit rolled upon this crazy ocean of life. With so much going on within us and around us it becomes quite easy to loose our center and shortly there after, loose our cool. In times like this it is so important to have a bag of tricks, or some kind of tool box that we can reach into and pull forth the instrument that will help us to realign our center and find some solid ground to stand upon.

With so many choices out there, where do you begin? First of all you need to see what it is you are trying to accomplish. What are your goals? What interests you? Start looking around and see what you find. There are an overflowing handful of local practitioners offering a wide variety of expertise's. If its yoga you're into, Breathe More, LLC. in Tolland, CT offers classes for the hardcore as well as the first timer. With certified teachers and a well rounded staff your options are wide open. Whether it be yoga or a nice relaxing and grounding meditation, Breathe More is just one of the wonderful local establishments offering a nice dose of healing vibes for the mind, body, and spirit.

Many people often forget that most of our local community colleges offer many non-credit classes that vary from Guided meditations to learning to access your higher wisdom through going within yourself. The levels range from curious, to deep in the journey of exploring your higher self. Manchester Community College put out listings of all there classes a couple times a year, contact them via Internet or simply give them a call.

With so many choices sometimes the hardest part is making a decision. When deciding, narrow it down to a few choices that feel right to you. Use your instincts; go with your gut feeling. We often try to over think these things. It's important to remember that nothing is final. If something doesn't seem to be working out for you, you can always try something else.

In times of change we need to find the tools that work best for us. Each tool we acquire along the way will help us to interact with life in a way that will help us to remain calm in stressful times and centered and grounded even in the midst of a storm.

Go out into the world and explore all that it has to offer to you. When you find that which feels right to you, take the time to go within, release your tensions, and then create a space that soothes you. From there the healing begins, and with a little dedication and practice, the healing continues. Be well.
