After her presentation on Manhattan’s tony Upper East Side, I asked Laurence about her inspiration. “The LX Collection was inspired so women can have a way to tell their life story in a unique and sparkling way. I accomplished this by creating a system of interchangeable, interlocking, stacking and embracing engagement and wedding rings.” With this concept, they can add new rings to reflect special moments and key milestones. Sort of like the old charm bracelet idea, but with much more glitter and edge. The free iPad app will be out in the spring, which will enable customers to create their own, one-of-a-kind combinations.
Combinations of these custom works of art can include GIA-certified diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, rubies and tourmalines, as well as numerous styles and colors of bands. Most are 18K and come in gold, yellow, white, rose or platinum. The LX Collection will make its U.S. debut at fine retailers in New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas and other select markets nationwide. It will also be online.
