Sometimes Santa Claus is a hard to find guy, especially this time of year. This is the place to turn to find out where to go to see Santa Claus around Atlanta and plenty of other Christmas happenings.
If you’re looking for the purrrrfect new addition to the family, look no fur-ther. On Saturday, December 12, from 10AM-4PM, The Fulton County Animal Services Shelter will host their “Home for the Holidays” pet adoption. Over 100 homeless pets will be available for adoption. The event will also have a bake sale, door prizes, low cost microchips for pets, information booths, and a visit from Santa. Also on Saturday, December 12, Hands for Hire in Tucker, GA will host the Holiday Chi Hope Chest Open House event. The event will last from 11AM-3PM on Saturday. This event benefits the Chihuahua Rescue of Georgia. There will be doggie clothing and accessories, homemade goodies for dogs and people, t-shirts, jewelry, Holiday gifts and ornaments, and home décor items for sale. The Georgia Dance Theatre will present “The Nutcracker Ballet” at Starr’s Mill Auditorium in Fayetteville, GA. Performances are on Saturday, December 12 at 7PM and Sunday December 13 at 2PM. Tickets are $15 per person. Shhhh……rumor has it that there will be a surprise visit from Santa Claus during the intermission and after the performances. You can get a picture with him too!
