What does a candidate have to do to get your vote? Or do you even bother to vote?

You may say, “Why vote - it don’t matter, they are all alike anyway.

Listed below are the Bill of Rights. Some thoughts to ponder. See if you think we still have these freedoms today. It seems systematically these rights are being violated by the very people we elected to uphold them.

Voting has been a part of this nation ever since a bunch of rag-tag farmers with pitchforks got together and felt that their hard earned tax money should not be sent to England.

Why did the colonist fight for freedom from England?

They felt it was wrong to be taxed without representation. They no longer wanted a king or other monarch figurehead to control their lives.

They wanted America to be governed by Americans who lived on the soil and who as in tune with the people. They established the “freedoms” we have enjoyed for more than two centuries.

Men and woman have died to give us these freedoms – the first 100 years 683,000 died defending this country….and the next 100 years another 626,000 died defending this country – and you don’t vote?

Think about that… more than one million, three-hundred and nine thousand men and women have died to give us the freedoms that are now being peeled away and denied the American people. Source Military Factory

Bone up on those freedoms here…. look over these rights carefully and see if you think those in office today are upholding this part of the Constitution?

Some in office today say the Constitution in out of date – that is what amendments and due course is all about – not violating the laws as written.

There is a process to make changes that retains the rights of American citizens. The due process of making changes is to ensure that the government is of the people, by the people, and for the people. And not the whim of any elected official who overrides the Constitution for any reason.

This election is to pare down the many candidates in each party to arrive at a single candidate representing their various parties; who will face off in the fall election – called the General Election.

Our precious freedoms, fought and died for, are slipping away; and it is time to Stand Up America and fight a new and different war – one that will preserve our nation and not destroy it from within.

Now ask yourself if you think it is worth your time to familiarize yourself with those who want to run this country; and then vote for America - and not for petty, personal issues based anything other than to maintain a strong and free America. United We stand….Divided We Fall.

Soldiers fight with guns and weapons – our greatest weapon is the ballot box.

Remember God’s word says:

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
