Our monthly meeting will be held on February 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the Upper Iowa University campus, 1161 Tebala Boulevard, Rockford IL, which is a change in venue from our normal meeting place.
This month, we are holding one of our favorite events…a plotting party! Bring whatever you’re working on to the meeting, whether you’re almost finished with it or just getting the beginnings of an idea…dust it off and bring it with you. This is an invaluable tool whether you’re struggling to express your ideas or simply need guidance or support—or can offer guidance and support. We’re breaking into groups where you can brainstorm with others and bounce your ideas off other people, gaining valuable insight and feedback in the process.
We’ll have fiction, non fiction, poetry, and memoir sections, so you will be with other writers who have similar goals and knowledge of that venue.
