There is nothing more exciting to a reader than…BOOKS! If you are a serious reader (or you know someone who is) mark your calendars now for the “Best Used Book Sale EVER!” a fundraiser put on by the In Print Writers Group, on Saturday, February 23, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Our Book Sale is being held in the Community Room at the Spring Creek United Church of Christ, corner of Spring Creek and Spring Brook Roads, 4500 Spring Creek Road in Rockford.
There will be live music! An open mike for readings! A café, serving coffee, tea, cocoa and cookies! And let’s not forget, of course, lots and lots of hardcover, paperback and audio books, as well as dvds and cds…for adults and for children.
If that weren’t enough, there will also be a drawing for an iPad mini! Tickets for the iPad mini are a mere $5, or 6 for $25—see an In Print member for tickets. The drawing will be held at 4:30 p.m. on that date, and winner need not be present.
What a great way to spend a morning or afternoon, browsing for wonderful books with a warm cup of hot chocolate in your hand.
