The final day of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival culminated on April 20, 2014 in Indio, CA. The repeating third day of the festival revealed a few unexpected surprises: main-stage performer Chance the Rapper cancelled his set due to an undisclosed illness that sent him to the hospital; Beck performed a cover of Prince's "Controversy" (while donning a Pope bobble-head mask) with headliner Arcade Fire, while Lana Del Rey sang her way toward the front row audience in order to take selfies with adoring fans. The festival's largest crowds were found at the stages that showcased Electronic Dance Music, with performers including Flosstradamus, Duck Sauce, and Disclosure all drawing massive audiences.
