The Backstreet Boys made a major announcement on “Good Morning America” on Friday. According to a report by ABC News on March 14, the popular boy band announced a continuation of their world tour.

The boy band is feeding off of the success of their “In a World Like This” tour and will be bringing it to North American venues starting in May. The shows will feature the original band members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson and will feature special guest, singer Avril Lavigne.

The tour will kick off in Canada on May 3 as the group visits Moncton, New Brunswick before they make their U.S. debut on May 22 in Seattle. The Backstreet Boys are excited about the tour. In a press release, Littrell said that the band wants to make these shows extra special for fans.

“We really wanted to put together a great show and do our best to give everyone their money’s worth. Avril is an unbelievably talented artist who’s a perfect fit to make these shows extra special for our fans.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 21.

The Backstreet Boys will make a tour stop at the Xfinity Center in Boston, MA on June 20.
