In memory of Mother: Watch the wheat, watch the weight part twenty-six

Continuing from last week, a story about Larry and weight loss:

Dr. Davis counseled Larry on the need to remove the number one most powerful appetite stimulant in his diet: wheat. At first, Larry did not believe Dr. Davis. But, he decided why not. I have nothing to lose but weight.

Larry returned to Dr. Davis’ office six weeks later. He reported that within three days he nighttime cravings had stopped. Also, he noticed that his appetite was much smaller during the day and his desire for snacks seemed to disappear.

With no change in his exercise habits, he had lost eleven pounds. More importantly, he had control over appetite and impulse, something he thought he had lost years earlier.
