Sometimes, when I had insomnia, Mother had the perfect cure. The properties of warm milk are legendary. Zap a microwavable mug of milk on high for 1 minutes; stir and test temperature before drinking. Or, heat the milk in a small saucepan over low heat until it’s warm, but not boiling.
Here’s a more ‘heavy-duty’ recipe to help one sleep. Stir the following into 1 cup of warm milk: 1 tablespoon Carnation Instant Nonfat Dry Milk, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 tablespoon brewer’s yeast. Drink before going to bed. Happy dreams!
