In memory of Military Working Dog Aron, honored after losing battle with cancer

Military Working Dog Aron was honored on May 15, 2014 at the Prairie Rose Chapel on Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D.

Aron was humanely euthanized on May 7 after it was discovered he was dying of cancer, which is the number one killer of any dog.

Aron, a Belgian Malinois, served the 319th Security Force Squadro. He entered service at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas on June 30, 2009 and arrived at Grand Forks Air Force Base in November 2009.

A member of the 319th Security Force Squadron, Aron served his country as a patrol narcotics detector dog.

Rest in Peach, dear boy. Thank you for your service to your country.
