In 'Man of Steel' Jimmy Olsen will not be replaced by Jenny Olsen

According to Comic Book Movies on March 11, there has been debate about Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" movie character, Jimmy Olsen, was thought to be replaced by a female version of his himself, Jenny Olsen. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Jenny Olsen won't be his replacement, but will be playing Jimmy's sister in the film and rumored to be played by actress Rebecca Buller. Also, it's been noted that a reference to Jimmy will be made in the film. No comment has been rendered about Jenny's occupation though.

There was a combination of confusion and excitement among fans because some thought that an actual gender change had taken place with the same human being. Why is this? Because there was an issue of "Superman" in DC comics where the story entailed a gender change among the people of Earth.

Rebecca Buller was pictured in the "Man of Steel" trailer of what appeared to be here fleeing from a collapsing building with Lawrence Fishburne. Perhaps a catastrophic event struck The Daily Planet building?

Hopefully, we'll find out the fate of our heroes in "Man of Steel" which is scheduled to be released on June 14.
