In Connecticut Al Copley plays solo, Eddie Money brings his band—Report Part 2

Saturday, 4/30

The entertaining bluegrass group Southern Rail appears at the Northwest Park Nature Center in Windsor, CT at 7:30PM.

Folk/pop artist Patty Larkin performs at the Beekly Library in New Hartford, CT beginning at 7:30PM.

ChandlerMusic Hall in Randolph, VT hosts the Chiara String Quartet starting at 7:30PM.

Classical violinists Christian Tetzlaff and Antje Weithaas perform at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, MA at 8PM.

The Fat City Band brings its Swing/R&B sound to Dante’s at Firefly’s BBQ in Quincy, MA.  Show time is 9:30PM.

Al Copley co-founded Roomful of Blues with Duke Robillard back in 1967.  Since leaving that group back in 1984 he has recorded with many musicians including The Fabulous Thunderbirds.  As a pianist and singer with an entertaining personality he performs blues, boogie-woogie, and swing with equal aplomb.  He appears solo at The Vanilla Bean Café in Pomfret, CT at 7:30PM.

Pop/rock artist Eddie Money always draws well when he appears in the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun.  He plays Friday at 8PM.  On Saturday country singer Steve Azar takes the same stage at 7PM.

Los Munequitos de Matanzas Co. is an energetic Cuban Rumba band.  They have a show each day in the Hunter Center at Mass MoCA in North Adams, MA.  The Saturday start time is 8PM; on Sunday it’s 2PM.

The Atlantic Symphony Pops Orchestra includes works of Leonard Bernstein and John Williams in their spring concert at the Duxbury (MA) Performing Arts Center beginning at 4PM.

The Tufts University Symphony Orchestra performs on their Somerville, MA campus at Distler Hall within the Granoff Music Center beginning at 7PM.

Folk/rock entertainer Shawn Mullins takes the stage at Tupelo Music Hall in White River Junction at 8PM.

The Bronx Wanderers are a Dion tribute band performing at noon and again at 7PM Monday on the Wolf Den stage at Mohegan Sun Casino.

Garrison Keillor is about dry humor and stories of people in the fictional Minnesota town of Lake Wobegon.  He appears Tuesday at the Flynn Center in Burlington, VT beginning at 7:30PM.

Country/pop star Kris Kristofferson appears at the Zeiterion Theatre in New Bedford on Tuesday at 8PM and at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester on Wednesday at 7:30PM.

Frankie Valli starts a four night run at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston on Wednesday.  All shows begin at 8PM except for Thursday when the start time is 7:30PM.

On Thursday Sweet Honey in the Rock brings gospel and blues to the Jorgensen Center on the UConn campus in Storrs at 7:30PM.

You may catch Gallagher’s unique comic act at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook beginning at 7:30PM on Thursday.

Thursday is also when country/pop artist Rosanne Cash takes the stage at the Capitol Center in Concord, NH.  Start time is 8PM.
